Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall.     Lovely meal and such friendly service. Beautiful building! Very accommodating with our baby as well which is great as you don't always know what to expect when bringing a baby out with you but staff and facilities were great!

    I booked a table for Valentine’s Day around 5 months ago now and WOW this food did not disappoint! I got the carbonara whilst my partner got the beef ragu pasta. Although both were absolutely gorgeous (and definitely some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten) I definitely had food envy from my partners plate haha! We started with the focaccia and trio of butters which was stunning, and I must not forget to mention how good the home made lemonade is!! As a huge pasta lover this is HEAVEN for me. I’d also like to thank our server (I’m unsure of his name but it was a young man with curly hair and a blue jumper) as he was AMAZING all evening. He was very attentive, explained dishes on the menu thoroughly and overall gave great customer service with a smile! Please ensure he gets the praise he deserves for this because I can hands down say that’s some of the best service I have received in years and that should be recognised!! Thankyou again x

    Food was great. Service was quick and polite. Nice atmosphere, busy but relaxed. We went for a late lunch, so was starting to fill up at the bar when we left. Definitely would recommend.
