- MMarieSouth Carolina •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoWe’ve dined at Rappahannock for over 12 years now. We’ve always appreciated the historic brick walls and rustic wood dining room. The food has never disappointed either. But tonight, we noticed that the dining area around the bar and bathrooms need some attention. It’s starting to feel more like a bar rather than a fine dining experience. It’s lost its luster, so to speak. Bottles of cleaning products were in the window near the hostess station and on top of the paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms. Not a good look. The bar area wasn’t as “polished” looking as it has been in the past. Everything needs a refresh. Although some may think it’s ok for the staff to wear t-shirts with the logo, it feels too relaxed, IMHO.More infoRappahannock Oyster Bar - CharlestonPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Charleston•4.7

We then decided to get the dessert that had some chocolate and whipped cream, but I don’t remember the name of it. - TTinavipCharlotte •42 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy husband and I sat at the bar and was surprised by how amazing their happy hour was! From drink specials including Negronis and manhattans. Then the food was incredible we had the Cesar salad, prosciutto tray, meatballs and pizza! All fresh ingredients and made to perfection. ALL on happy hour!More infoIndacoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown Charleston•4.8
- TTonySouth Carolina •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Oku=slay Food is amazing, second time visiting from Asheville and both times they make me wonder why we don’t have a Japanese restaurant like this back at home. Our server was perfect, she didn’t feel the need to smother us by coming up every 5 minutes and asking us how everything was which was a plus. She was able to give us some really good recommendations on vegetarian options (which more than most have to offer) it was a really welcoming experience. The food was really well done. plating was beautiful, food times were fast, and the deserts we tried were amazing. Little improvement is that if they played as much edm, they could have been playing more charli xcx. IykykMore infoO-KuPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Downtown Charleston•4.8
