This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our condo. It did not disappoint. We chose a scenic table on the terrace for sunset, which I highly recommend. The restaurant atmosphere is gorgeous, the food options hit every taste, our server, Issac was thoughtful, attentive, and gave excellent service and advice. Not related to the restaurant: We’re staying at the SoHo which on the map looks like a 8-min walk on the map, but don’t be fooled, it’s a steep climb and would taxi the next time, even though it’s just around the corner. Well-worth it, though, just unexpected. Serrano’s is on our permanent go to spots from now on.

We were a gang of 4 people sitting upstairs that absolutely enjoyed our cosmos, loved our delicious dinner, our excellent server and the wonderful ambiance. Going back next Thursday. Total fun experience

La Palapa is hands-down our favorite dining spot in Puerto Vallarta. It’s the perfect place to catch a sunset, with stunning ocean views and an ambiance that strikes just the right balance between relaxed and elegant. The service here is consistently good—friendly, attentive, and warm without being overbearing. It’s clear the staff takes pride in creating a welcoming experience. The food is fun and approachable, offering a mix of flavors that never feels pretentious. Whether it’s a fresh seafood dish or a creative cocktail, everything is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We make it a point to dine at La Palapa both at the beginning and end of every trip, and it never disappoints. It’s more than a meal; it’s part of the Puerto Vallarta experience.

It was good, service and the best views. We booked at 6pm and checking in was fast.
