Restaurants near Courtyard by Marriott Houston Katy Mills

We recently dined at The Federal Grill - Katy and had a fantastic experience. We started with the Cheeseburger Egg Rolls and Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers—both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Before our entrées arrived, we were served their delicious bread with their unique take on orange marmalade, which was a delightful surprise—sweet, tangy, and the perfect complement to the warm, fresh bread. For our main courses, we had the Blackened Chicken Pasta and Chicken Fried Chicken, both of which were excellent. The seasoning on the pasta was spot on, and the crispy breading on the chicken was perfect. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dinner even more enjoyable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch, and we’ll definitely be back for another great meal!

Loved it! We had a large party of 16 to celebrate my mom's birthday, and the service didn't faulter one moment! Our server, Joel, was great and even went an extra mile in making my moms birthday special. We truly had a great time and the meal was delicious! We will definitely be back for our next celebration! Thank you Joel for making my mom's birthday special and being able to deal with our large group, you did a great job!

I was apprehensive going on valentines night, only because in past experiences, restaurants are usually short-staffed and it’s too crowded. Gauchos did a fantastic job, they didn’t overcharge or have a limited menu for food just because it was Valentines night like the majority of restaurants do. Food came hot, waiters did a great job periodically checking on you since it’s really more of a self-serve type…

The food was excellent. The cheesy roasted cabbage wedges were alittle bland but that was the only complaint about the food. The scallops might be the best scallops I’ve ever had. We were seated directly in line with the entrance so everytime the door opened I would get a breeze against my back. Would probably ask for a different table next time. Service was excellent, the waiter had an excellent feel on just how often to check in on how we were doing.

Location Tucked inside a hotel was different. Another burger place was next door and I preferred Burger Theory. Good burger and fries.
