- MMarkvipOrange County •73 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife is gluten sensitive and this is a go to restaurant for us. They have a great gluten free menu. We had a wonderful dinner with excellent service. Only issue was a regular roll came out on her soup and we challenged it. It was not gluten free so I enjoyed. Could be a problem if someone was celiac. She had the Alaska butterfly fish which was a nice portion and I had the lamb loin. Both dishes were quite good. We shared a hot beet salad as well which was very tasty. The soups we started with were very good, butternut squash soup for her and lobster bisque for meMore infoSeasons 52 - SacramentoPrice: Expensive• American• Arden Fair•4.7
- TTimSan Francisco Bay Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food was exceptional as always. The chef consistently adds a twist to even the old favorites. Try the friend brussel sprouts, they added sweet caramelized onions and they are perfect! Always great service and the cocktails are exquisite. Another favorite, bavette steak - tender and juicy.More infoParagary'sPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Sacramento•4.7
- TThomasSacramento / Sacramento Valley •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe stopped by Ella's bar for appetizers and drinks at the bar while waiting for a friend. Claire W, working the bar, immediately made us feel at home. Cocktails, wine, and a couple of small plates, and everything was perfect. Super yummy, nicely presented, perfect portions. Claire answered all our questions, gave us good insight into what to expect from the small plates, and her wine recommendations were spot-on. Claire also has the perfect personality for the hospitality industry. Warm, open, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. We loved her!!! Next time we fly in to Sacramento, we're definitely heading to Ella's. You should too!!!More infoElla Dining Room and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
- MmangiaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •40 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2023Don't judge a book by its cover. My in-laws sniffed at the Starbucks cafe setting and sniffed some more when the tea came in actual Starbucks paper cups. I had my apprehensions too, but boy, were we wrong. In all my years of reviews, I've always held back: never raving and never using exclamation marks, and I'm so glad I saved them for Tribute Bistro, because their food and service were fantastic! I'm always leery about ordering Brussels sprouts because other restaurants either burn them or undercook them, but Tribute's were crispy, fully-cooked and delicious (my ten-year-old kept stealing from my plate)! The yummy chicken pot pie was generously sized and thoughtfully came with a perfectly dressed arugula salad. Burgers were cooked right (although we could have done without the BBQ sauce as we're not used to sweet sauces) but the star of the dish was the thick cut garlic fries: crispy outside, tender inside. I've never had thick cut fries so good. If you like your tomato soup smooth like a bisque, you will be disappointed. Tribute's is country style: very tomatoey with just the right amount of basil--I loved it! The grilled cheese sandwich was all grown-up: real cheese on sourdough. So if you don't mind decor that includes a nook to print out your boarding pass, go to Tribute's Bistro for comfort food. (We'll try the pricier fare next time.)More infoTribute Bar and BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Sacramento•3.6
