We attended the buffet dinner on Thanksgiving day. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good. Tenderloin with red wine reduction was excellent. Turkey and gravy was also good. Service was excellent. Thank you for taking care of our family.

We ate lunch here for our 37th anniversary. We come here most years to celebrate our anniversary. We were in a room by ourselves and the food was wonderful. Our server could not better. She kept our drinks filled and our food coming. She always asked if we needed anything else. We will be back next year and many times in between.

The Mixer offers Southern cuisine with an elevated, sophisticated twist, and it does not disappoint. As a native of Hopkinsville, KY, their bourbon cocktail was a nostalgic delight—it truly felt like a taste of home. The star of the evening, however, was the trout dish. Cooked to perfection, it was topped with a white wine sauce that was simply chef’s kiss. The balance of flavors showcased both creativity and respect for Southern traditions. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort food with a touch of elegance, The Mixer is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Sitting in the bar room was much better as far as noise level. The spicy shrimp and grits was terrific. The apricot salmon was cooked well but the potato mash was very salty. Too salty to my liking and almost inedible. The bacon jam could use some texture. The bread that came along with the bacon jam was great.

Always a local favorite seafood restaurant. Has preferred seating available on Open Table that works every time for fast reception and seating. Always enjoy their special bread and a nice cab for starters including the stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy the salmon New Orleans entry. Attentive service every time. Will return.
