Restaurants near Sing Sing Correctional Facility

Lovely ambience. Excellent service. The wait staff is pleasant and very attentive. Each dish was better than the last. My husband and I shared the Caesar salad which was crispy and one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant in a while. I’m a very good fish cook and their Bronzino entree was cooked to perfection. I also love broccoli rabe and their’s was a delight to my palate. My husband had the chicken parmigiana with pasta and loved it. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée. While it was very good, I found the crème a bit heavy. I would have liked it to have been much lighter. Overall, we had a wonderful belated Valentine’s Day dinner.

Was a little disappointed because it was Valentine’s Day and we were three women. They wanted to seat us not at table but three tall chairs facing straight ahead looking at glass. When we were going to leave he put us at a table and said we should be out in an hour. We took it and had a very fast but good pre fix dinner and were out in 1 1/4 hr Guess because Valentines Day and needed quick turn over.

Cocktails were a little disappointing ( previous orders of the same drinks at other times were actually different) but salads with salmon add-ons were delicious. DIning on Friday mid- evening was too noisy to hear or be heard without yelling, though the atmosphere was festive and tv screens were tuned into sporting events.

We started with freshly prepared calamari and a good bottle of wine. Then 3 different types of steak coupled with mashed potatoes French fries and asparagus. Creme brûlée and raspberry sorbet. More than enough food and leftovers to enjoy the next day. The service was exceptional and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Definitely will return
