Enjoyed our first visit and recommend. Sampled many dishes. The restaurant/hotel is nicely decorated & the live music during our visit was bravo! Service staff "could use some more polish".

Grace was an excellent waitress…what a great personality and was so thorough. We had the today’s special pasta with a slightly spicy Italian sausage…wow was that GREAT! I had lasagna and that also hit the mark. Great meal and we were cared for oh so well. Great experience!

Woodfire is a bit more expensive, so it's usually a special occasion that brings us out. Valentine's Day is a special occasion, right?! What can I say - our waiter (Danny) was super! The special ribeye steak, salad, sides, and desert were exceptional. Delicious as always. Thanks for making a special occasion that much more special.

As usual, superior food, service, and ambiance. It continues to be the best Galena has to offer. We will return again and again. Our compliments to the Chef, the kitchen staff, the servers, and of course, the owner, Fred Bonnet for another excellent dining experience. We started our meal with an appetizer special of cheese and Italian sausage arancini fried rice balls with marinara. They were a wonderful way to start our meal, paired with a nice glass of Cooper's Hawk Meritage red wine and an elderberry spritz. We also enjoyed a complimentary serving of pretzel bread that we saved for accompanying our meal. For our main course we both had the Surf and Turf Valentine's Day special. It featured two filet medallions with a winter truffle crust, a blue crab-stuffed lobster tail, roasted broccolini, whipped potatoes, and lemon beurre blanc. Everything was prepared superbly, with the steak being a perfect medium-rare, the lobster very tender, and the broccolini nicely al dente. The mashed potatoes were super smooth, creamy and delicious as well. Despite being quite full, we ordered key lime pie and banoffee (banana-toffee) pie, both made with a graham cracker crust. Both were great, but I would probably order the key lime pie next time instead of the very sweet banoffee. Although it's a 35 minute drive to get to, we now hope to go to Cooper's Hawk on a regular basis!
