The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents.     We always enjoy our entrees, great service and ambience. We started with a Bloody Mary and a cappuccino. My husband ordered the Gravlax,beet cured salmon | pickled red onion | caper | dill | chopped egg | cream cheese | bagel and I ordered the Farm Scramble with organic veggies. Great service, thanks!

    Regular customers here. Next time I would order just one appetizer of garlic knots for a table of 4. Plenty to share without overeating. The salmon main entree dish was good. The broccolini wasn’t as thin as I’ve had at other restaurants but still good. The steak main entree was very good. The tiramisu is probably the best I’ve had anywhere. If you are full from dinner, even splitting this 2-4 ways would be sufficient. Staff is attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere although it can get a bit loud from the bar area or from very young kids at nearby tables.

    Food was decent but the burger buns would not stay together to eat. So it became a mess. Also the kids cheeseburger was overcooked almost burnt and very dry and the bun was over toasted and became hard at the edges. The atmosphere was great and it was pretty quiet.
