In particular, their admiration of Federico Fellini’s masterpiece 8 ½ has inspired them to name their delightful restaurant after it and to decorate the interior with 8 1/2 – themed details. The general vibe of this charming and accomplished neighbourhood restaurant is vibrant and warm and full of colour with collectors’ details like rare LPs, books, instruments and a precious 1963 poster of the film.     Absolutely fabulous! We ate here in 2016 and it blew us away, was apprehensive to come back because it had been so good the first time however we were blown away once again! The cocktails, food, service and overall ambience were out of this world! Cannot wait to come back! Don’t walk, RUN to Zaika!

    The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The traditional fish and chips and the classic shepherd’s pie were mouthwateringly tasty. For dessert, we had the Ivy chocolate bombe to share paired with some Earl Grey tea which was delightful and rich. Overall, the service was slightly slow but the waitress Rhea was pleasant and personable on approach. Thank you for another lovely experience!

    This is such a good restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere, lovely setting and excellent staff. And, of course, the food… Peking Duck is simply delicious and not excessively priced. The other dishes were also really good (especially the Kung Pao prawns, though £15 for a small bowl of simple egg-fried rice, no matter how good, was pushing it. The wine-list is interesting, but also expensive. However, dining here really is a treat, and the Peking Duck is stellar.
