Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $85 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for both indoors and in an all new screened outdoor room. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world.     Our family had a special dinner on a Saturday, enjoying something from every part of the menu (signature cocktails and mocktails; appetizers, entrees and desserts). Flavor galore. Our server, Lincoln, was attentive, made great suggestions and helped make it a perfect evening. The night was made extra special when a young couple a few tables away got engaged to the applause of all. In the car ride back to our house, the five of us each sang the praises of Millwrights. Top Shelf evening.

    Perfect for a date night! The pear martini was amazing! The ricotta with fig toast appetizer and the gnocchi were delicious. The main course took a little bit of time to come out, but we didn’t mind at all. We topped off the night with cappuccinos and the chocolate torte with homemade salted caramel sauce. Chef’s kiss!! We will definitely be back!

    The 5-course bourbon event was outstanding! Delicious food and fantastic service. As expected, we were seated with others sharing the experience. James is an amazing host. This is on our regular restaurant rotation - highly recommended for both the special events like this one and for everyday meals.
