First of all was the excellent service & attention from our Server, Jessica! She was an absolute delight from start to finish. Is a home cooked Thanksgiving feast better??? Debatable for sure, but the Black Angus Feast was absolutely delightful & fresh & complete in every way — From appetizing soup or salad to the perfect ending of delicious pumpkin pie with the perfect dollop of whipped cream. I think we have a new family tradition!More infoBlack Angus Steakhouse - WhittierPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Whittier•4.6

The lamb came out a little more gamey than i remembered but it was still good. the service was great but servers with the meat would miss us sometimes (i was at a large table where they visited one end of the table and my husband and i were at the other end). They would check in with the people at the front of the table but then either we would miss them as we didn't realize they approached our table, or we would be looking at them to acknowledge us and they would just walk away lol. It WAS Thanksgiving and we still ate to our hearts content. My picky kids were happy as well. It seemed they were a little slow in bringing out the pao de queijo but again, it was a holiday and i'm sure they were doing everything they could to bring it over to us. We eventually received it for the whole table and brought more when we asked. Overall the experience was great. Despite how crowded it was, the noise level was fine. The sweet potato casserole was YUM but wasn't a fan of the stuffing.. it tasted too much like grainy box mix that wasn't mixed in well enough. IDK what the soup was but it was yuuuummmm.More infoFogo de Chao - Brea, CAPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Brea / La Habra•4.4

She really likes the salads and last night. She had the mahi-mahi. We enjoy sitting on the patio, especially on weekends when the weather is nice.More infoCha Cha's Latin KitchenPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Brea / La Habra•4.7

Our favorite spot if it is just the two of us is the bar. The bartenders have changed over the years, but the caliber of service has not. If you arrive late for a drink & dinner, you are never rushed...actually I hadn't even realized we were the last as my husband and I asked about different liquors we hadn't noticed before. You can't go wrong with the Almafi Fizz, my favorite and one of their signature drinks. Their food is outstanding, love the scallops! Last night we went for my husband's birthday...it was Monday night special, lasagna, garlic bread & Caesar salad for I believe was $20. I can eat, yet I took half of it home! My husband loves their chicken parmesan...he too took half home and was pleased that they presented him with tiramisu & a candle for his birthday...the extra touch appreciated! Yes, I would give them a 10! We will be back next week for a relaxing dinner or maybe Cha Cha's for a little more noise... let's face it, tacos, tequila brings the noise level up!More infoBrunos Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Brea / La Habra•4.9
