We sat in the back area where it feels like you are in an old time library with the walls being built in bookcases. Our server Wesley was very knowledgeable of the menu and respectful when helping us decide on on our meals. I had the special for the night, seared scallops that pared great with the golden pear cocktail! You also have to try the rolls with orange and pistachio butter they are to die for! Everything was all so delicious and we will definitely be coming here again! Thank you for an amazing night! More infoMurphys On The GreenPrice: Moderate• American• Hanover•4.2
- LLaurence GPhiladelphia County •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a special dinner at the tavern. It is a warm and inviting space. The food is quite good. My wife and I both started with the excellent clam chowder. Warning: it is very filling! I had the tacos which were unusual and good, but not as good as the hangar steak my wife had! Alas, we did not have room for dessert. I’m sure we will return.More infoRichardson’s TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Woodstock•4.5
- JJoelGreater Boston •5 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2025A really spectacular meal! My wife and I started with the Vermont Artisan Cheese Tasting. The cheeses and the "embellishments" were almost a meal onto themselves. We then split the 14 ounce Ribeye. Also delicious! The cocktails were on par. I enjoyed the Corpse Reviver #2 and my wife enjoyed the vodka Collins. Ashley was a great waitstaff! Her suggestions worked out perfectly. We are light eaters but splitting those 2 dishes was quite filling. The Red Rooster stands on its own as a restaurant and isn't just a "hotel restaurant". We were staying at the Woodstock Inn so a bonus not having to go outside for dinner!More infoRed Rooster at The Woodstock Inn and ResortPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Woodstock•4.6
