Restaurants near Vernon Station

For 10 years our go to spot for a "nice" restaurant. We have never had poor service , we have never had a meal we didn't like. Hope to be happy with CH for 10 more years.

We had another outstanding experience during our second visit this month! The service was exceptional, as always. We specifically requested to sit in Sara B’s section, as she has been amazing during our previous visits, and she did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Both food and service are a solid very good. The restaurant has a great old school ambiance, dark wood and dim lighting, a great place for a special Wisconsin night out.

My wife and I had a delightful evening at Mr. B’s in Brookfield, celebrating our last Valentine’s Day together as a couple. Since my wife is pregnant, I wanted to do something special and memorable. We had a 5:30 p.m. reservation, but the restaurant was already packed. Despite the wait, which lasted about 10 minutes past our reservation time, we were pleasantly surprised to receive two hors d’oeuvres—bruschetta and bacon—during that period. Once we were seated, we were greeted by two attentive and friendly wait staff members. They kept our water glasses filled throughout the meal, which is a priority for us. We ordered beverages, and they arrived at our table faster than we had ever experienced. As an appetizer, we shared a lobster Mac and cheese, which was both delicious and satisfying. For our main courses, I opted for the 18-ounce ribeye, while my wife chose the 8-ounce filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and left us with leftovers that were even better the next day. To end our wonderful evening, we indulged in a decadent crème brûlée. Thank you for providing us with a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Mr. B’s in the future.

Such a beautiful place and unique menu. We enjoyed the celery root soup with duck confit. So different and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the scallops and au gratin cauliflower. My husband had the ribeye which was good but not the best. We also enjoyed the chocolate mousse cake, which was also outstanding. The bourbon old fashioned was also one of the best I have had. The atmosphere was amazing and I look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area and view!
