The service was amazing. The food delicious. The drinks tasty.

My mom and myself had a wonderful time at Glo restaurant and it was our first time there. Melissa was a super waiter and her recommendations were spot on for both of us. When you go to a restaurant for the first time sometimes it is best to just rely on your waiter's recommendations after explaining your desires and tastes? I loved the ambience and the layout of the restaurant which offered most tables as preferential seating. Excellent bar setup which also works well for single diners? All the staff from the Hostess and the others working there seemed to be very helpful and nice to their diners. The views are great, especially during lunch when the sun is shining. Both of us really liked the menu and I believe anyone can find a good, tasteful meal here. We will both be coming back soon, probably for dinner this time. I am just sorry that I didn't make the effort to dine at the Glo much sooner because I had heard in the past that it was an excellent Victoria restaurant. We had a lovely waiter, who originally is from South Africa (sorry cannot remember his name). He was attentive and very friendly. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal immensely. Overall wonderful dining experience.

We enjoyed both our happy hour menu selection and dinner menu plates. Our friends had the fish and chips and loved it! The Market salads are fresh, colourful and dressed with such tasty dressing. I added prawns on my salad, they were plump and flavourful. It’s a fantastic spot for socializing with friends. The Margaritas were popular at our table, and best drink I had, was the Spicy Seniorita! Omg! Delicious tequila cocktail! 😀 Our server, Morgan, was superb, checking in on us and she timed our order perfectly. She was very lovely to chat with. We always love the harbour view and ample space at our table. This is a top notch venue, our favourite in Victoria!

It was an excellent meal. Interesting food combinations, textures and flavours. The food presentation was thoughtful, very eye appealing. every time I have had a meal at Wind Cries Mary I have very much enjoyed it.
