First time back at the Jacksonville Ruth’s Cris since 2002! And still a great place to dine. !!

The service was very good. But the food was slow. The appetisers came out almost same time as our meal. So we couldn’t really enjoy them as we would have liked to. Overall we sat at 7:30pm and food did not come out until 9pm

We celebrated my husband's birthday here last evening. We have never been during the week and it was not nearly as crowded or loud as it is on the weekends, which was nice. Our service was very good and the food was outstanding. Lobster bisque was nice and hot this time, which it wasn't last time. Bread was only lukewarm, but still good. Steaks were outstanding as always and the beef rib (my husband's favorite) was tender and flavorful. His birthday dessert was presented on such a prettily decorated plate and was so good. As he is diabetic, the lava cake and ice cream (which we shared!) was a nice birthday treat for him and one of his favorite desserts.

Very friendly staff and a perfect service!! The food was very delicious with top quality, definitely one of the best restaurants in town.
