Restaurants near Abbott Playground

A cold January day and a bright warm spot to enjoy a scrumptious lunch with friends. The comments around the table were in unison about the salads and dressing, the Hall of Fame chowder and swordfish Reuben sandwich. What a great meal.

We had the duck and the surf & turf. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly! The meals were also hot served on a warm plate on a very cold night. They also serve warm bread with garlic and oil on the side that was very good. We'll be back!

Everything was great. Food was fantastic. Drinks took a little long to get to us. But other than that our server was fantastic (which I know the drinks were not her fault)

This is a quaint place for Portuguese dining. The tables were beautifully set with white tablecloths. I ordered the Whiskey & Espresso Bife. The flavors were delicious. The service was very nice. The serving staff were very kind & attentive. Absolutely loved it here.

This was our first time dining here and the waitress was wonderful and very attentive without hovering. The portion size was very generous on 3 or the 4 meals ordered. Nice variety of dishes on the menu. Location is nestled in the downtown part of the city and still had a quaint neighborhood feel. Ceilings are high so noise was not an issue at all. Dining area we sat in was about 80% full. The only negative comment was that the 2 of the seafood dinners served did not have the variety of seafood choices as described on the menu and one of the seafood dinners was not in the lemon/butter sauce stated and was served in a mozambique sauce....a very different flavor. Also, crab legs were served and they didn't have any crab leg cracker tools making eating very difficult. Overall, we would return for a second try.....
