The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too! We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad. Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen. I had heard from someone else there was a great new restaurant in Towcester and that it was an Italian place and so I was very interested as it was about time … I went today with my husband and son, in the daytime and it was busy but not overcrowded. The food was on time, the lasagne was so tasty it was wonderful and my son and husband were happy with the pizza and their chicken and mushroom dish. The music was very apt for the Italian vibe setting and not too loud which is something that can really spoil a dining experience. I will definitely revisit in the new year with friends.

My daughter and I had lunch today.The food was lovely and the staff as usual were very attentive and pleasant. This is always my favourite place to go.. Today we were given a 10% off for our next booking, 10% off for the plant barn and 10% off for the Art gallery.

The food was great, service fantastic and the price was great too. The staff even gave my wife a complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate her birthday! Will definitely be going back.

A lovely date night with excellent service and wonderful food and drink, we started with a delicious pornstar martini and then had a lovely bottle of Italian red wine. We enjoyed the Christmas menu with a great choice of starters mains and desserts
