At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. When the lease came up at Zen Forrest and they couldn't stay Chiara thought it might be the end of Zen Forrest in New Port Richey. As good things do happen, with the assistance of the new partner, Jay Patel, he found the perfect location on Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey. It is a larger restaurant accommodating over 150 guests, with a Sushi Bar and a sociable, full liquor cocktail bar. Chef Victor and partners are pleased to share their excitement with loyal Zen Forrest customers and friends and they look forward to hosting you to a new ZEN Kitchen & Bar experience.
