- MMarthaVIPNew York City •76 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoNext Door is amazing in every way, the new renovation and menu are absolutely stunning! The new highlights of this visit were the sweet shrimp sashimi and the Koji marinated chicken. The shrimp were sweet and delicate with a lovely ocean flavor! Superb flavor, tender white and dark meat and crispy skin are what make the grilled chicken truly delicious and wonderful to eat! The crisp baby gem lettuce, shaved radish, grilled citrus and green sauce that accompany the bird make it even better! The roasted cauliflower and and Japanese sweet potato were great with the chicken, as well. The hamachi sashimi appetizer and miso soup were, as always a great start to the meal. The staff are so wonderful at Next Door are always a delight to see and talk to, thank you for being so wonderful Next Door!More infoNext Door by WegmansPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Rochester•4.8

My husband had a delmonico shaved hot sammy (sandwich) on amazing grilled bread with au jui and it was wonderful. I ate some of his bread, yumm😋More infoKiX on MainPrice: Moderate• American• Canandaigua•4.7
- SSharonNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe service and food were outstanding. We were seated on the patio so the scenery wasn't great and we couldn't see the live music but the taste of the food made up for that. Definitely will be going there again!More infoProsecco Italian Restaurant and Jazz Bar LLCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Farmington•4.3

- MMichael LTampa / Central Florida West •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoTo kick off the New Year in style, our party of five had the privilege of dining at The Cove Restaurant at Canandaigua Lake Hotel, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. For two of our guests, it was their first time dining here, and they left thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff set the tone for what would be a memorable meal. Service: The service was impeccable--attentive yet unobtrusive. The Food and Beverage Manager, Melina and the gentleman bartender, Ian on duty went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our requests, ensuring that each guest felt valued and cared for. Accommodation: The restaurant's layout was thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable and inviting setting even amidst the bustling energy of New Year's Day. Despite the busy holiday atmosphere, and overabundant of loud chatter from a rather large engagement party, our group had plenty of space out of the mainstream to enjoy our meal and conversation in a relaxed and slightly serene environment. Food Quality: Although the menu primarily featured only breakfast items due to the occasion, the chef displayed remarkable flexibility by customizing a grilled shrimp on greens salad entrée for one of our senior guests. This thoughtful touch was greatly appreciated, and he thoroughly enjoyed the dish. Every other dish, from the perfectly prepared eggs benedict to various egg, breakfast potatoes and thick smoked bacon dishes were equally outstanding, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and attention to detail. Ambiance: The Cove truly captures the essence of Canandaigua Lake. With stunning views of the lake, warm lighting, and tasteful decor, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between upscale elegance and cozy charm. Decorated nicely and festive for holidays. Final Thoughts: Dining at The Cove was an extraordinary way to start the New Year. The restaurant delivered on all fronts thanks to its professional management.More infoThe CovePrice: Expensive• American• Canandaigua•4.7
