It is quirky and fun but we have eaten here a number of times with many different people and the food is always really good… just keep in mind that fresh tomatoes in the winter aren’t great. Wished I had ordered the beet salad rather than the Victor salad.More infoThe Victor Cafe - PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Philly•4.9

We sat at the bar and talked with the chefs and our waiter was top notch, freindly but not overbearing, and attentive to every detail and need. Our meal was wonder, especially the soldier toast with caviar and the foccacia and ricotta. Small, intimate space, not too loud, cozy and lovely ambience.More infoRiver TwicePrice: Very Expensive• American• South Philly•4.6
- KKelseyJacksonville / Northeast Florida •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBoyfriend and I went and split three dishes, which came recommended from a server. Onion soup, warm shrimp salad, and the steak frites. Everything was fantastic. We ordered our steak medium, and it came out very medium rare. Our server returned it, the manager came out and apologized. They returned with a corrected steak and more frites. Definitely recommend eating the frites with the steak in one bite. Good one their own but together- chef’s kiss! All of the food was incredible, and felt like we were back in Paris for an hour. Only critique would be for the bread to come warm to the table, or the butter to be softened so it could easily spread on the bread.More infoParcPrice: Expensive• French• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

The service from everyone start to finish was top notch. I really liked the feel and look of this establishment, it’s inviting and warm. The music selection was complimentary. The crowd is a nice mix of people. Clean, spacious restrooms too! I LOVED everything! Can’t wait to go backMore infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
- GGenevieveVIPWashington, D.C. Area •81 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 7, 2024The food here is delicious and the portions are large. I have ordered from here many times and will continue to order from here. On the whole, the staff was super friendly. Of note, they do not have Coke products. There was an issue with our order- something forgotten- and one of the staff yelled at another staff member and that was upsetting. The noise level was low except for the same staff that yelled being very loud on the phone.More infoThe Palace of IndianPrice: Moderate• Indian• South Philly•4.6
