Hopheads is a bar and bottle store dedicated to selling the absolute best Australian and International beers.Our original store was founded in May 2015 and stemmed from the relevant question (at the time) – ‘why aren’t there any good beer stores and bars in the west?’ Founder and beer afficionado Adrian Chong (and long suffering partner Wai Lee) were tired of having to travel across town to access quality beers, so they took it upon themselves to right this egregious wrong – and so the idea of Hopheads was born.Hopheads has since expanded to a second store in Altona, injecting some young blood into the team in the form of the somewhat magnificent Ryan Cochrane.We remain passionate about making the West-side the best-side for beer in Victoria. I want to write a rubbish review because I don't want people coming here. I want to keep it to myself. Stay away, its terrible, not worth the drive. Seriously its like I have a bar in my lounge room with great people and food. If I have a heart attack here I'm going to make sure I have a DNR in my will coz this would be the place to fall off the perch, or on the golf course.

We had an enjoyable couple of hours listening to the live music while trying some different stouts. Bringing our own snacks was a great option.

The service was very good, staff were friendly and quickly cleared plates from tables. The food was good but for dinner I expected a little more variety. Dessert was very good. The feel of the diner was warm and inviting, I love the new look!
