Restaurants near Applause Hotel Calgary Airport

Amazing food great quality and value. We tried the mussels ( best I have had in years), Parma Pizza and Lamb Shank. Wickedly good Negroni. Wonderful service by Raphaela My new neighborhood go-to Restaurant. Definitely have a Limoncello, directly from Italy , after dinner.

Chop Steakhouse in the NE is very comfortable. The food was fantastic and the steak was prepared exactly like we ordered it. The server was very attentive (almost too attentive as she interrupted conversations more than she needed to) but we didn't have to search for her ever. Overall, it was a lovely evening with relatives to celebrate a 60th birthday.

Server was amazing. Very attentive. Aman stopped by table as well to greet us. Couple of food complaints. 1. Didn't think Lettuce or Cilantro belonged on Nachos. 2. The lettuce for the lettuce wraps was cut quite small so as a result it didn't really feel like a wrap. Overall though, had a great time and would be back again.

Great place to hang out near the airport even if you aren't staying here!

We tried Freeport as it was closest to the hotel where our friends were staying. We were pleasantly surprised. While the restaurant is just off the main foyer, it was quiet (Thursday night), and we had great service! Prices were typical for hotel restaurants - about $16 on average. The food was excellent and plentiful. The only downside is the ambience. It's not an upscale restaurant, but the seats were comfortable and the music very low, which was perfect for conversation. If we're in the area again, we will go back!
