A family owned business since 1971, Restaurant Di Menna was asimple pizzeria offering delivery service and takeout. The popularity ofthe pizza place was undeniable, and founder Franco Di Mennadecided to expand his business next door: the pizzeria now had adining room. Evolving in the tasteful world of Italian cuisine, Franco DiMenna kept trying new recipes and creating delicious meals. In 1988,the restaurant went under major renovations to match its high qualitymenu. For 2024 the service is impeccable, but a little pretentious. A client should feel comfortable, not in stage before your staff, needing to uphold the standards of the aristocracy. In other words, I expect perfection, but you shall not expect perfection from me. Such is life. And more directly - have each server, no matter what level, make eye contact and say “Merci” at least once. Otherwise, the best Montreal dining experience thus far. R
