Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous fried chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Once again, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner at Jake's Famous Crawfish. We come her often for dinner and it never disappoints us. Food and service is consistently good. Our server, Charlotte, remembered us from a previous visits and again, did a fabulous job in taking care of us, as well as others, as I observed.

Amazing Thanksgiving meal - every bite was delicious. And the cocktails too. We ate outside with a dog, and it was cold in spite of the heat lamps, but otherwise it was a simply perfect dining experience! Loved the decor inside, especially the framed handwritten recipes from the owner's grandmother (reminded me of ones I have from my grandmother!)

Great food and staff. However the 3 percent upcharge before tip is lame. It’s a work around for the restaurant. Also like many restaurants the ambient music is too loud. Makes it hard to have conversations.

Everything was exceptional. My husband and I were excited for specific things and our waitress made sure that as soon as they were ready that we got them fresh. Above and beyond excellent service.
