- LLillianDublin •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFabulous Afternoon Tea at Ashford Castle 😊 From the moment we arrived on the grounds of the Castle we were looked after…The Castle was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Our booking was in The Connaught Room & the room is exquisite…the food was amazing & there was a big selection of teas. Loughlan looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend Ashford Castle for Afternoon Tea.More infoThe Connaught Room at Ashford CastlePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Cong•4.9

- SSineadDublin •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024Another great experience at the old stone house. It never disappoints. Very attentive service. Mags is a great host and welcomed the children with a chocolate santa. The food was delicious. We had the scallops and soup as starters and the sea bass and steak as mains. All super. I'm already looking forward to going back!More infoThe Old Stone House Restaurant RoscommonPrice: Expensive• Irish• Roscommon•4.7
- SSiobhánConnacht •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024I went to Sophies for a Christmas night out with my friend. The place looked perfect for a Christmas meet-up. Our pizzas were delicious as were our cocktails. We had enough space around us to be able to speak to each other without feeling overheard. The place was busy but noise wasn't overwhelming. The best part was the young woman who was serving us. She was really friendly, accommodating, and had a good sense of humour. She made the experience so much better. I am sorry that I didn't take her name to thank her here. In a city that's overwhelming at Christmas we had a lovely night at Sophies that was relaxing and enjoyable. Well done to all involved!More infoSophie's @ The Dean GalwayPrice: Moderate• European• Galway City Centre•4.3
- RrebeccaSligo •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 1, 2024We found this gem of a place 2 years ago and travel from sligo to eat here. The staff are lovely, the athmosphere is peaceful and calm. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, the menu is easy to read and has a good choice. The dumplings are a firm favourite we enjoyed the platter. Having a variety was nice. Its lovely to go to a restaurant where the food is really fresh, its light but very tasty and great value for money. 5 starters, 4 main courses, drinks for 119 euro. Compared to what we normally pay this to us is great value for money. Looking forward to our next meal there.More infoRenao Bar & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Chinese• Galway City Centre•4.5
