Restaurants near Barnes Station

Just as before I d give it a 12 from 1 to 10 . I was a bit nervous because I had friends with who heard me brag about my previous enjoyment there but they thanked for taking them to a place that lived up to the hype. I chuckled because when they asked what I recommend and they asked the Same question to her she said the exact thing I said " the lamb shank or duck were highly recommended. " I had the shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta with their home made mozzarella. Plenty of perfectly cook shrimp as expected. Wonderful waitress and ambiance topped off a perfect evening.

Main Deck has a new chef who has developed an excellent new menu. Great small bites and tasty new salads and entrees. We had the butternut squash soup which was amazing. The beet salad was excellent. This new menu will definitely be a hit this spring and summer. Vanessa was our server and she was friendly, informative and made for a quiet winter evening.

Great Experience for the holiday. Would return for the holiday in the future. Did happen to notice a table did get up and leave due to not being served in a timely manor. This happened to us years ago there but after this years experience they have redeemed themselves and we will plan to visit again.

Went on valentines day. Ordered off the regular menu. Tacos were fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Others had the chicken parm and loved it.

We have never had a bad meal at Nolan’s. We eat there 5-6 times annually. It’s a favorite for our special nights out. Last night was equally favorable with great service, a cozy ambience as we sat near the fireplace and a delicious and beautifully prepared meal. Our only concern (a first) was that the food was not served as hot as we anticipated. It was not cold or luke warm but not hot enough to last most of the meal. We did share that information with the waitress after the meal was over. We’ll absolutely return. It’s a well run establishment that provides a great dining experience.
