- DDuncVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent and Bruce was great at keeping our glasses full and serving the food. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the music. It had been a while since we could eat at Shields and didn’t know what to expect. The experience exceeded what we anticipated. The card we received topped off a wonderful evening.More infoShields TavernPrice: Very Expensive• American• Williamsburg•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe chose the five-course menu, and it did not disappoint. Husband's favorite bite was the scallops with truffle sauce. My favorite bite was the beef tartare (and husband ate almost half of it). Tomato bisque was smooth and delicious, not overly sweet as some can be. My steak was perfectly rare, and lobster melted in the mouth. Husband had the 3-meat trio and all were cooked perfectly and very tender. We finished with the souffle and cheese plate. I would come to Le Yaca for just the souffle! It was perfect. Husband ate half and shared his cheese plate with me. The selection of cheeses actually complemented the souffle, especially the brie. I had a nice doggy bag with 1/2 steak and spinach for lunch today. The waiter was so attentive and friendly. The only thing that was not exception was the French Onion Soup. It was good, but not great; way too sweet for my tastes, but husband finished it all. We had a nice French Cab Sav for under $50, and a Bourdeaux for $70. With tip the meal came in around $400. This is definitely a special occasion meal. We have eaten here many times and there are more budget friendly options.More infoLe Yaca - WilliamsburgPrice: Expensive• French• Williamsburg•4.9
- OTOpenTable DinerAustin •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe enjoyed celebrating our 46 wedding anniversary. The crab cakes were the largest and nicest I’ve ever eaten. The trout had a little more breading than he liked. The sweet potato muffins were perfection. The Irish flute entertainment was very enjoyable. Dining by candlelight was very romantic. This is an historic building and is not handicapped friendly. The restroom is downstairs. Parking is in the back and where you enter the drive is not obvious and down the street—hard to see after dark. The menu is historic style and fun to read. We love to eat here on every visit to Colonial Williamsburg. I make reservations several months in advance.More infoChristiana Campbell's TavernPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Colonial Williamsburg•4.6
- AAnneGlasgow/Lanarkshire •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoOur meal at the King's Arms Tavern was one of the absolute highlights of our visit to Williamsburg. The food was unbelievable, the service was lovely, and we enjoyed the live harpist who played for a bit.
