Traveling Germany as an American can be difficult due to the language barrier, but this place is a must visit. Delicious food that will bring us back for sure. Everything that we had was top notch and by the end we were licking the plates. The cherry on top for us was they have a full English menu for us. So far this is the first restaurant that had this which made us feel like home. We didn’t have to have our phones out to translate the menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had a question about the octopus. (Which was cooked perfectly which we got a 2nd plate of it)

Great Italian restaurant with fine and Quality food. Price are a little bit more expensive in average above 50 € per person, depending on the amount of courses.

We made a reservation and promptly arrived on time. The lower part of the restaurant has full glass windows so you can see out. We were seated on the upper level with no view. The waitress had to come up and down the stairs to service our table. We ordered our drinks and waited. They eventually arrived. The food came and was very good. The online menu showed a chocolate soufflé available. But the waitress said it was not on the daily menu. She asked and the chef accommodated the request. The waitress did not return will our bill. We were abandoned upstairs alone. I had to go downstairs to settle our payment. Not great service.

You cannot beat the service at Burgerheart Bamburg. We always try and visit a new burger place whenever we’re traveling and we found this place right off the shopping area. Things we liked about it… The service was fantastic. Our server checked on us frequently but not so much they were annoying. Nor did they come too infrequently. They were able to answer all our questions and got our orders correct. It is off of the tourist track. This gave the place a relaxing atmosphere instead of the feeling of being hustled. The food burger patties were cooked perfectly. They were not dry. They make authentic hamburgers. Another thing we liked was the open feeling of the dining area. We’ll be back.
