Restaurants near Bembridge Fort

Amazing find on Ventnor seafront. This is not a sushi and sashimi place but rather a straightforward primarily fish restaurant cooking food in a wonderfully-tasty and delicious manner. The atmosphere is entirely casual, the table layout is simple and it is not a large restaurant. Service is friendly and personalised. Prices are not cheap but this is a personal choice.

Staff were very good - our server paid particular attention to my fussy eater Grandson to make sure he was enjoying his food and offering him alternatives. Food was great and we all enjoyed it. Perhaps add a dessert that’s dairy free - the polenta cake was a bit grainy!

Every time we come here we are blown away by the quality of the food, it’s truly outstanding, service is really efficient and the fact that it’s always busy speaks volumes as to its reputation!

Having visited before we decided to come again bringing our Son & Daughter-in-law for a treat. Had not been on a Sunday before and so hadn't tried the carvery. We all opted for this and it was excellent. Plenty of everything and all beautifully cooked and presented. Just about had room for dessert. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the pub and will visit again.

Always good for Sunday lunch, an excellent Carvery with plenty of choices from small plates to regular, meats freshly carved choices of moist Pork, Turkey, Ham always thinly sliced and excellent plus Beef joints after that the vegetables are regularly changed with a selection of Stuffing, Brussels Sprouts, Peas, Mashed Swede, Roast Parsnips, Red Cabbage, Roast Potatoes Broccoli Cheese plus Gravy, Mustard, Horseradish, Apple Sauce etc Always busy and necessary to book so please b by up
