- GGeorgeVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Tobacco Company is a Christmas Eve tradition with me. My soon-to-be-wife and I celebrated there the first time in 1998 (because it's was one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Eve back then, and there was no way we could get together on Christmas Day). This tradition has continued unbroken ever since, 23 of the 27 dinners being at the Tobacco Company. The missed years? Three due to the fire, and 2020 was take-out from another place due to COVID. Last night's meal was the usual: Absolutely excellent. The New York Strip was cooked to perfection (they understand 'rare'), the service was professional and prompt, and the ambience was . . . . . well, what I love the Tobacco Company for. Definitely coming back next year.More infoThe Tobacco Company RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Richmond•4.6
- EEmilyWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe al enjoyed being able to walk to dinner after seeing the Nutcracker. Service was great! We enjoyed our dinner - a few things we had we might choose something diff weren’t next time (the she crab soup was heavy on sherry taste, the fish tacos needed something a little extra - maybe some mango slaw? Or something to add some crunch) the Philly cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks and Bianca pizza all got a thumbs up and we all loved the garlic bread appetizer - especially since not many restaurants offer bread as a free app anymore!More infoTarrant's DowntownPrice: Moderate• American• Richmond•4.5
- SSinclairVirginia •104 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoZac did a great job as our server. Food was fun and tasty. If asked, skip the kimchi bacon egg rolls - good flavor but too fried as they need to use a different wrapper. Soup dumplings were great. Nice happy hour choices and perks. Make suit to try the shrimp chips.More infoAnd Dim SumPrice: Moderate• Dim Sum• Richmond•4.1
- KKevinVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThis place was bumping! Everything was exceptional…a little loud, but to be expected as busy as the place is. My only issue was my mussels were on the cool side… as though they were probably done before my wife’s meal & sat in the pick-up window for a few minutes before coming to the table. They were still delicious, just not hot. The service was perfect. Our table super nice. Staff was friendly & had a sense of urgency, yet calm. My wife will go back again & again!More infoCan Can BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Richmond•4.4

We got the Shareable cinnamon bun, Breakfast Burrito, Shrimp and Grits and the Chicken Biscuit. We got the $30 Mimosa Pitcher which was worth the price. Will definitely brunch here again!More infoBar SolitaPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Richmond•4.6
