Perfect place for a quiet couple dinner enjoying a glass of wine, a quality plate of pasta and a scoop of gelato or affogato. The lobster pasta (sorry - horrible with the Italian names) was delicious - as has been anything we try. The service is knowledgable, friendly and prompt. Not our first time - it is a regular stop!

This was our first time at Ruthie's. We both ordered steaks. They were done as requested and seasoned well. We enjoyed the food overall. I am gluten free, and both the server and kitchen seemed to not exactly understand what I could and couldn't eat. There was confusion as to whether or not I could have butter at one point. The kitchen staff especially need to understand what different allergies mean. Another thing to note is that Ruthie's is very small. While that can feel intimate and warm in the right setting, this was more awkward. A bit like being on a stage if you are seated at a middle table. Maybe because it is too light? Or maybe because the booths are semi-circles that face the middle? The ambiance could use some work either way. Not a bad experience, but probably won't be added to our regular restaurant rotation.

It was outstanding – what a wonderful place and every member of the staff is friendly and attentive – Julie was our waitress and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and satisfied – but beyond that each server or busser stop by to make sure that our evening was going well and that we were taken care of – you just don’t get that anywhere anymore and that’s why we keep coming back

We had excellent service and delicious food. My group would highly recommend Famous Dave’s.
