- DDonielSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined todayWe have been dining here since it opened. It’s evolving beautifully with the growth of Boise. The atmosphere, service and menu are consistently welcoming, consistently comforting yet fresh. We have our favorite menu items and there is always an interesting new dish or twist somewhere to try. The most extraordinary thing about this restaurant, however, is the consistent staff. This is a big deal. It means the back of the house must have some agency, they must be taken care of well. It means they genuinely know what they’re serving, care about your comments, questions, critiques. It is no longer common to have a restaurant experience where a team are doing work they’re proud of, and to the best of their abilities, presenting it to you . Also, Justin was our server last night and he was fan-freaking fantastic !!! Explained everything well, never made us feel rushed, seemed super competent and relaxed.More infoALAVITAPrice: Moderate• Italian• Boise•4.9
- PPatrickIdaho •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCan't say I've ever had a bad experience at Chandlers, but yesterday was exceptionally good so I wanted to share. Our server Zach was a delight, fun, funny, etc. Food recommendations turned out phenomenal, I had the special, some sort of Kansas City dry aged steak which was cooked perfectly. Drinks were good, desert drinks were also great. Would love it to be cheaper, but that's the cost of a great dinner. Also very much enjoy the live music and the atmosphere.More infoChandlers SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Boise•4.8

- SSethIdaho •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was our first visit to Anderson Reserve, but it definitely won't be our last. I was a chef years ago with classical French training and a respectable resume, and this was the BEST MEAL OF MY LIFE. The moment my wife and I walked in, we were greeted warmly and given a couple of complimentary glasses of champagne (it was our anniversary), and the space was a feast for the senses. The architecture and design were top-notch. There was a wall of wines and a cooler of different cuts of meat from the butcher. There was live music from a very talented guitarist that was enjoyable but didn't drown out conversation. Our server was professional and kind and gave fantastic recommendations. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas was absolutely magical. My wife had the Beef Wellington, which was life-changing for her palate, and I had the New York Strip, which as a former culinary professional, was the most sublimely flawless dish I've ever tasted. The cost was high, but for good reason. There was not an aspect of our experience that was lacking in any way. Anderson Reserve is WORLD CLASS dining... You'd be hard-pressed to find a better experience anywhere.More infoAnderson ReservePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Boise•4.7
- RRoseNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024Good food but appetizers took ages, even the bread. We were on EST and starving which we told the waiter. Disappointing as my teenager was so tired by the time the food arrived she couldn’t eat it. Great salads, fun “fondue” grilled cheese but it would be good to be responsive to guests.More infoFork - BoisePrice: Moderate• American• Boise•4.6
