So good. The pinnaple is amazing and the steak is out of this world.

Our server was the best, Allie. We got the Ribeye Steak Board and loved it. It was a really neat way to share the three steaks and sides. A birthday dinner for my wife she’ll not soon forget!

Another fabulous experience at this wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing. Interesting and diverse menu, great flavors, outstanding presentation. I can go on and on. We all shared the yummy warm and crisp bread with butter. I had the salmon and spinach salad, probably the best salad in the city. Others had the grilled salmon, the tomahawk pork chop, and chicken and pasta. All five stars. And our server Josh was the best. Kudos to him for helping us have a great time. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous. Also, thanks to the manager, who stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. And it was.

This was our first time in Columbia SC, not knowing the area we took a chance on Saluda’s. So glad we did. They had Valet parking , which was great because we couldn’t find an open space to park. Upon entering the restaurant it was a great atmosphere from beginning to end. Our waitress, Elena, was wonderful. So very polite and cheerful. A young South Carolina college student . She was very helpful with suggestions on the menu. The food was delicious. My friend had raw oysters and I had Fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer ( my first time for this). Both were delicious. My friend had scallops for her entree and I had the Filet Mignon . Both were excellent. For dessert we shared a Caramel Apple Square with Vanilla ice cream, again delicious. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. You will not be disappointed. Better than 5 stars all the way around!

Our friends chicken sandwich was horribly salty. He could not eat it. The manager wanted to give a 50% discount since he had eaten part of it. (Crazy). He also cut off a small piece for me to try. Anyway, she would not comp the sandwich so we asked for a hamburger to go and she gave a 25% discount on the burger. We eat here almost once a week and this was embarrassing for us as usually things are handled better Since Richard stopped being manager, California dreaming has gone way down.
