- LLorraineNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy daughter & I loved the restaurant. It wasn’t the first time I was there and every time I’m in the city I will definitely go back. The meals are family style, but the prices are very good. The taste of the food is always wonderful and the service is very quick for the amount of people in the restaurant. I recommend this restaurant, especially for those going to a play. They serve a great lunch & dinner. You won’t be disappointed.More infoTony's Di Napoli - MidtownPrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.8
- SSimayNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe waiters & waitresses are very attentive and knowledgeable about the food served here. They patiently answer your questions about the dishes and give valuable recommendations. We ordered Veal Shank (Osso Buco alla Becco) with a side of three pastas of the day and Chicken Parmigiana (Parmigiana di Pollo). To be honest, pasta tasted decent, nothing spectacular about it. The veal shank is beautifully cooked for several hours. The meat leaves the bone without any effort, it is very juicy, soft and rich in terms of flavor due to the fat content. Chicken Parmigiana is also very tasty and crisp! We also ordered drinks, the spritzer resembles aperol spiritz and it is very good however I cannot provide a positive comment if you order wine by the glass. The wine tasted like it is diluted when you order by the glass so if your party is a good wine drinker you better go for the bottle.More infoBeccoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.5
- JJohnMississippi •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI picked this restaurant by looking at online reviews. I could not have made a better choice. Our reservation was on time. We walked in, sat down and were immediately greeted by our server. Emily was her name. She was without a doubt, one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of working with she treated my wife and me as if we were her only customer and we were the most important people in the restaurant. It was truly a special occasion for us. The food was everything that she had said it would be and everything that I read online. It was fabulous. We took her suggestions for some of the dishes we got and every suggestion she made was fantastic. I will go back to Carmines anytime I’m in New York City.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.7
- KKarenVIPNew York City •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLOVE LOVE LOVE Sardi's! This is the quintessential New York theatre district restaurant, just as wonderful today as decades ago when I first visited. The service is unparallelled, just exceptional! We had three maroon-jacketed servers attending to our table, and they were happy to answer any questions, share their favorite menu choices with us, and fill us in on Sardi's legendary history. And the maitre d' stopped over several times to see how we were doing. Our meal was wonderful, as always. Tonight we tried the chicken parmigiana with haricots verts and yukon gold potatoes, a really nice change to have an Italian entree without pasta. Dessert was Chocolate Decadence, a delectible wedge of chocolate Devil's Food Cake, Dark Chocolate Fudge Frosting, and Chocolate Truffle Cream. A must-try! But the highlight of this awesome experience has got to be the famous illustrated portraits lining the walls. So much fun to guess the names, and our servers were thrilled to chime in to help. Dine at Sardi's before or after you go to the theatre... this is THE nyc Broadway experience!More infoSardi'sPrice: Expensive• Continental• Theater District•4.6
