All though it was crowded (Friday night) we were almost immediately seated in the back with a candle for ambiance. As it was our first time to the restaurant, the server kindly guided us to the most popular dishes and informed us MULTIPLE times to start with Thai Mild (or no spice!) as it was authentic Thai food and the heat was no joke. So we heeded the warning and ordered Tom Yum Soup Shrimp for an appetizer, which came in a cute burner holder, Pad See Ew with Pork, and Crispy Pork Belly which was Devine and the sticky rice was a nice touch! I am pregnant so I ordered a Moscow mule mock-tail, which was awesome! The great thing about this place is that the dishes are meant to be shared and the portions are healthy! My mom and I only needed two dishes! Thank you again for the great service and making us feel welcome! We will definitely be back!More infoStreet To KitchenPrice: Expensive• Thai• East End•4.7
- CChereeHouston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat experience... delicious food..service was excellent. We were placed in room off of main dining room where it was quieter. Main dining room was a little noisy. So we appreciated the quieter room. The only thing I would say that could have been better is that the bread served was NOT already in small slices.... You kinda had to tear off a piece and it was not USER friendly.. They could take a lesson from Landry's Seafood Restaurant in how to serve the bread at the table. Other than that, all was outstanding. We had the octopus appetizer....the BEST octopus appetizer I have ever had and we have tried MANY. The steak was perfect and the salmon was outstanding! The valet parking is kinda tricky...cuz it is on McKinney city street and with a lot of traffic, the valet area really tends to "bottle neck"....so better to go really early or really late for dinner... We definitely will be back. Cheree K. Lake Jackson , TXMore infoPappas Bros. Steakhouse - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8
- AAmandaHouston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI look forward to my annual birthday dinner at Ninfas!! This year the entree I have ordered for 20+ years was changed but unfortunately not for the better!! Bring back the classic India!! The manager informed me there was a chef change catering to a different taste . . . Change is good but this change left a less than desirable impression. Hopefully my feedback will make it back to this new chef!!More infoThe Original Ninfa's on NavigationPrice: Moderate• Mexican• East Side•4.7
- DDavidNew Orleans / Louisiana •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoBeef is flank steak but prepared Parisian style unlike anywhere else in TX. Sole for 2 is the main of choice. Butterfly desert not to be missed, take photo of it. Order wine by the bottle, by glass is 4oz paring pour instead of typical 6. Well worth the wait for a reservation. Ignore sticker shock when the tab comes. A dining experience not to be missed. Don’t have to travel to France.More infoLe Jardinier - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• French• Heights / Washington•4.7
- DDavidVIPHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024One of our best dining experiences in a long time, considering we dine out frequently. We enjoyed refreshing cocktails at the bar prepared by Kevin before moving to the dining room where we were attentively served by Yuli and her colleagues. The appetizers were so delicious - the swordfish dip, empanada and bison anticucho. We took on the recommendations from their F&B Head Likith and enjoyed sharing entree plates such as the octopus and Toro Toro churascho - the Colorado lamb was just amazing! The Napa Nook bottle of wine recommended by Gary was just the right pairing. We closed out with desserts La Bomba and churros, and got to meet Executive sous chef Jonathan so we could offer our compliments to the chef and his team. Outstanding evening, thank you Four Seasons!More infoToro ToroPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.7
