Great flavours and great ambiance. The cod and braised beef dishes were our favourites. We also enjoyed the slaw. The octopus carpaccio was very spicy; maybe too much. We devoured the molten chocolate cake, which was one of the best. The dessert sampler of all-time favourites was also enjoyable and a nice mix of flavours The portion sizes were better than expected. One of the most memorable meals we’ve had in years. Would definitely come back.

Tucked inside a hotel we almost couldn’t find Alder but it was worth looking for ! Delicious fire grill food in a warm atmosphere . Good martinis and friendly staff.

Great ambience and friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend going here for the happy hour specials, otherwise other Toronto spots have more to offer in terms of flavour and value.

Fabulous venue, great servers, wonderful drinks and food and guacamole that is to die for!

It was the best meal we’ve had outside of Jamaica and my Grandma Daisy’s kitchen! We’ll be back a few more times before we leave town next week! It was exceptional!!
