- JJanSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 7, 2025Unfamiliar with the area we stumbled upon the Greyhound as a half way meeting point with friends and what a hidden treasure. The pub is very cozy and the log fire was lit when I arrived at midday. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Kelly runs the pub like you are guests in her home and extremely attentive but without being bother some and always with a smile. The ambience is very warm and cozy and it looked very pretty outside too, although when we visited it was extremely cold out and we did not take advantage of the outdoor space but in the summer it would be delightful. The food was incredible. The menu was extensive and delicious. Go with an empty tummy as the portions are generous to say the least. The presentation too was great. I could not fault our visit and would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It’s not on my doorstep, it’s about an hour from where I live but I will happily return at some point, hopefully not too far in the future. Thank you Kelly.More infoThe Greyhound Inn and HotelPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Usk•4.7
