- DDeonaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMattone's is located in the Sacramento area's Little Italy. We chose to dine in the lounge, as we've done in the past, due to its lively and cozy atmosphere. On a chilly winter night, the ambiance was warm and inviting. After a carriage ride through the Fabulous 40s, we arrived famished. For cocktails, we had the Jeanne Martini, a pleasantly tart concoction, Jack and Coke, a Manhattan, and a beer. We shared pork belly bruschetta and calamari for appetizers, then moved on to beet and Caesar salads, followed by lasagna and steaks. Finally, we indulged in dessert, enjoying chocolate ice cream with mint cookie crumbles, mango sorbet, and cappuccinos. The entire meal was absolutely delicious!More infoMattonePrice: Expensive• Italian• Sacramento•4.7
- MMarySan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had quite the memorable dinner at Ella. To begin with, we ordered the fresh baked bread and butter. The bread was so very fresh, and the butter light and delicious. We also ordered the butter leaf salad with an incredible dressing. The lettuce and vegetables were so crisp and fresh, along with the incredible salad dressing...it was delightful. For an appetizer, we ordered the mushrooms with in-house made fresh ricotta cheese... another incredibly delicious symphony of flavors that melted in your mouth. Our main course was the Salmon, absolutely incredibly delicious! It was lightly grilled on the outside cooked medium.. The salmon literally melted in your mouth like a marsh mellow. By far, Ella is the very best fine dining restaurant in the Sacramento area.More infoElla Dining Room and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7

Our server invested time early on explaining the menu in detail which was very helpful. Pace of the four course dinner was relaxed but not too slow. The food was amazing and Allora clearly deserves its stellar reputation.More infoAlloraPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Sacramento•4.9
- TTerenceVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •77 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMonday's wine and dine of two salads and two entrees and a bottle of wine for $65 remains a great value and deal! Especially since Bennett's finally listened and stopped chilling the red wines! That made no sense at all! So, now my wife enjoyed her sea bass and i enjoyed the meat loaf with a perfect glass of cab and then took the rest of the bottle home!More infoBennett's American CookingPrice: Moderate• American• Sacramento•4.5
