- PPeggyGreater Boston •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was excellent and the service was awesome. We had a burger, a winter salad special, baked haddock, and fish and chips, Two people had the clam chowder. Nothing but praise for all of the food. They even met our request for a quiet area since we were meeting old friends from Maryland. The location in the restaurant was perfect at a round table that made for easy communication for all of us, including those with hearing challenges. Much appreciated.More infoBoston Tavern - MiddleboroPrice: Moderate• American• Middleborough•4.7
- RRobertGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had about a 45 drive to the restaurant but it was my wife’s birthday and I wanted to take her somewhere nice. I made a reservation for a hi top table in the lounge. We were seated in the lounge and right in front of the fireplace. It was a freezing cold winter night so it was perfect. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She brought out bread and we ordered drinks and buffalo chicken dip to start. The dip was delicious and just enough to not fill up on. We ordered our meals and more drinks. The food came out and was spaced perfectly. We both enjoyed our meals and had no room for dessert. The menu is huge and the prices are reasonable, especially for the food quality. Fireside is a large restaurant and it was at full capacity. I highly recommend this place but suggest making reservations. We’ll definitely be back … maybe for my birthday next month!More infoFireside GrillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Middleborough•4.6
