Founded in 1934 while the country was in the throes of the Great Depression and just one year removed from the repeal of prohibition, Jimmy Kelly made a promise to himself and his diners. Now over 80 years later and operated by the third generation of Kellys, it has earned a reputation as one of the grand old restaurants not only in Nashville but the entire southeast.     The drinks and food were amazing! The arancini with the melted parmesan from the garlic bread is a great combo and the fusilli pesto and radiatori vodka was great! We also got the dark chocolate budino and it was fantastic. Stef, our server, was great and so friendly. Will definitely come back another time!!

    First time there, but the food was wonderful sat on the outside covered patio and it was great. Our server, Omar was amazing. This kid should be the manager. Not only good service. Good recommendations he checked on us. A real gem of a place and great service. Ask for Omar!

    The food was delicious. Lobster roll was market value, $36 that day for a hot dog sized roll with a side of chips. It was very good though. The Southampton Pizza was very flavorful, as was the New England clam chowder. Best chowder next to what we’ve had in Boston. It’s a little loud in the restaurant. But not obnoxious. The majority of the Christmas decorations (if you’re coming to see those because you saw it on social media) are on the rooftop level. The rest of the restaurant is regular ambiance. Very friendly service. I would go back.
