- GGraceSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had an amazing brunch for 6 at Caracol de Mar. Every course was excellent. Wonderful flavors and gorgeous presentation. We tried it all: aguachile, oysters, crab salad, pulpo, tuna tostadas, uni pasta, risotto, sea bass, grilled shrimps, and pescado a la talla Contramar. We were just blown away with execution of the dishes and the lovely, attentive service. For dessert we tried the meringue, chocolate tamal and panna cotta. All were divine, especially the meringue in my opinion. The ambiance was beautiful. Loved the high ceilings and voluminous light. I’ve dined at many restaurants in the city, and this is place stands out. Entertained a mixed group of friends from here and out of town. All were impressed. - JJiVIPNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 8, 2025We only stayed for 40 mins because we had another dinner reservation right after, but the drink was amazing, probably the best we had in CDMX (the bar is very high). Very creative and carefully crafted flavors. My friends said they tried random flavor combination and the outcome was still really really good. Super friendly staff. - EEmilyVIPLos Angeles •23 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Wonderful bodega. We tried the persimmon salad, beef satay, cheesy udon noodles (vege version as I don’t care for shrimp), and catch of the day which was seabass. The chocolate pistachio tart for dessert. They didn’t have very many red wines by the glass on offer, which seemed a little strange for a wine bar, but the bottle list was more robust and the waitress helped us choose a very nice and well priced Mexican Tinto that we loved. All the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. The seats at the bar are a little tight but the open kitchen concept there is charming. Very impressed overall!More infoPLONKPrice: Expensive• International• Condesa / Roma•4.6
