- SSlavaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024We had a fantastic dining experience with friends at Kioku yesterday. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect, and the wine selection was impressive. Although a bit confused at the start of our evening, the personnel made up for that later on. We were complimented with some wagyu temaki, and everything that came from the kitchen was outstanding. We're eager to return when the terrace opens. Kudos to the talented chefs!More infoKioku by EndoPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Westminster•4.6
- BBruceLondon •7 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Lovely location and views within the ORO courtyard. Decor pleasant, though the scallop shells above the circular bar look odd. Enthusiastic and pleasant service. Food of a good standard despite the distance to the kitchen - though certainly not Michelin * level. 15% SC included in the check, OK, but card machine prompting for a further large tip seemed less so.More infoCafé LapérousePrice: Very Expensive• French• Charing Cross•4.2
- SWStephanieWKent •8 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 26, 2024The Orchard Room is a lovely part of the Conrad Hotel. We arrived for our afternoon tea, unsure of where to go and the lovely gentleman from the concierge walked us to The orchard Room. He then spoke to a man in a black suit to let him know we had arrived and our booking name. However what happened next was not professional. He was telling the concierge gentlemen to take us to our seats and kept pointing at the table, as though he was too busy. There was only one other table having afternnoon tea! Eventually another gentlemen appeared in a grey waistcoat and took us to our table. We were then advised that whatever we didn’t consume we could take home. Fast forward… we were then advised at the end that we couldn’t take anything home. We felt that the conversation previously taken place, was conflicting. I don’t mean to say, but the gentlemen could hardly speak English, so there was a little confusion his end. We booked The Orchard Room from an instagram recommendation. The afternoon tea is £65. For this price we would have expected from the beginning to be shown to our seats, as oppose to to the Manager being ‘too busy’ and palming his duties off onto the concierge. On a positive note the afternoon tea was excellent. The table display, the crockery was simply outstanding. We will not return sadly.More infoThe Orchard RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Westminster•4.4
