We had been to Prime once before, for a special event with the Phoenix Mercury so knew we were in for a dining treat. We were not disappointed. While very pricey, it is definitely worth it for a special night out. We started with the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and large. The remoulade sauce was terrific. Hubby got the strip steak and a twice-baked potato. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, coming to our table exactly medium rare. The twice-baked potato was creamy and cheesy. I had the 10 ounce filet mignon, which is way more than I can eat so I knew leftovers were coming home. I got the dirty potatoes and let me say DO NOT PASS THESE UP! Holy mother of god were they good! Small fingerling potatoes roasted, then toasted in salt and pepper, bacon, chives, a buttermilk sauce and a special Peruvian (?) pepper seasoning. I want more NOW!!!! Service was good without being overwhelming.

My wife and I had brunch at Bacanora, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The food? Simply outstanding. My wife enjoyed a hearty machaca burrito, packed with savory, slow-cooked goodness. I had their birria dish, served stew-style—rich, tender, and exploding with deep, comforting flavors. We paired it with a refreshing Mexican Coke, the perfect complement to such a bold meal. Every bite reflected the passion and care that goes into Bacanora’s kitchen—authentic, vibrant, and unforgettable. We love coming back whenever we can get a reservation, and Bacanora always delivers. We left happy, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time. Our table in the private booth was setup beautifully. Steven our host was spectacular, very attentive and made our time an absolute pleasure.

Beautiful restaurant and wonderful view. The front of house was amazing. My wife was feeling cold and really wanted to have the dinner indoors even though our reservation was for outdoors. They moved and set up a small table inside for us. That is so sweet and honestly made our Valentine’s Day. We were ecstatic and had an amazing dinner. The food was good and the service was attentive too. We were really happy and will be back again soon. We’re already planning our next celebration there!

General consensus from the party were outstanding. Appetizers were next level which included the bone marrow, bluefin tartare and the king crab stuff oysters. It really set the tone for the rest of the mains. Service was great from the staff and kept the tables clear and drinks full. The only exception to the meal was some of the mains. Over cooked and undercooked steaks that appeared to have been sitting for some time. Coming from a place where we have world class steak, the inconstancy we experienced was disappointing given the prices charged and what precluded this portion of the meal which many raves about. Overall pleasure and happy to recommend.
