- CCarolVIPVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAmazing experience at King’s Arms Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg. We made reservations for dinner before the Grand Illumination. We were seated quickly in one of the quaint rooms and had attentive service. The food was outstanding from appetizer to dessert. We enjoyed the fife and drums playing outside as well as two strolling artists who played in the different dining rooms. Once our meal was finished, we walked outside to enjoy the fireworks which were seen perfectly outside the restaurant! Although expensive, it was a special and lovely family holiday experience!!More infoKing's Arms TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Colonial Williamsburg•4.7
- LLoriVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe staff was wonderful, the food was fabulous and the price was great. We went for a birthday and the waitress was so sweet and took the cake to the back to get it ready. The chef decorated the plate and added shaved chocolate. It was really special! I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be going back!More infoTuscany Ristorante Italiano - WilliamsburgPrice: Moderate• Italian• Williamsburg•4.8
- LLamiWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe restaurant from the outside appears unobtrusive and understated but once you enter the glass doors, you enter a charming space. Lots of character, elegant French country. We were immediately welcomed by a friendly host and because one had the sense of being in France I was taken aback when he spoke with a southern accent! Too funny. Our table was in a room with a large fireplace and the seats were cushioned and extremely comfortable. Noise level low to moderate. Our server Breanna was upbeat, had a great sense of humor and checked on our table frequently. The service was professional, our food came out in a timely manner and we never felt rushed. The menu was exceptional and for the quality, very reasonably priced. Appetizers averaged $10-15, entree $35-50 and dessert $10-15. A couple of outliers on the higher end such as the $30 foie gras starter and the $65 beef tenderloin seared with foie gras in a truffle port wine reduction. The entrees included a soup or salad and our portions were decent. A glass of brut rose champagne $12 and 12 oz of Caymus cab. $39. Other 6-12oz wines much cheaper. The manager came over to our table and spoke with us. She was charming. The chef.she told us is from Normandy which comes as no surprise as the meal was superbe. We were a party of six and every plate I noticed was completely clean at the end— not a drop leftover. I highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, or just to have excellent French food in a comfortable warm and inviting setting. Would go back again and again!More infoLe Yaca - WilliamsburgPrice: Expensive• French• Williamsburg•4.9
- JJohnVirginia •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024To be honest, I was somewhat surprised how easily we got a table for a party of 6. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with guests. Most of the high quality places in Williamsburg were booked due to the Grand Illumination. We were a little concerned having only read the website. We needn't have worried. The restaurant was clean with an upscale look, up to and including table settings. Florence, our server, was fantastic. The prices were exceptional. Extremely reasonable across the board, including the drinks. Now, the most important part: the food. I had the seafood combo which consisted of a crab cake, broiled scallops, broiled flounder and broiled shrimp. Included were potatoes and vegetables. Everything was exquisite. My wife's Delmonico steak was melt in your mouth tender. I can't attest to the quality of the other's food except to say that everybody gave the experience a 5, except for one person who gave it a four. My hope for this fine restaurant is that it soon is so busy that it may be hard to get reservations the next time we go there.More infoFireside ChophousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Williamsburg•4.2
