This was an opportunity for me and my best friend to ring in the new year. What a better way than to do it at Flemings! We did an early dinner, and we seated in one of their booths, which was perfect. The service was unobtrusive and perfect. The food was beyond words. We decided to do the Wagyu experience and a fillet. We didn’t do appetizers so that we wouldn’t fill up and be able to enjoy our steaks and sides. I highly recommend the Wagyu experience! You receive complete instructions as well as all the tools and accessories you need for the experience. The steak comes to you seared and rare sliced. In the center of your table is a super hot stone 500°. You receive miso (amazing)! , Horseradish sauce, and black salt. If you don’t like your steak rare, you can place it on the stone and cook it to your liking. The beef is the most amazing meat you will ever taste anywhere. My fillet was also perfectly cooked medium. I have to admit I did partake in the Black salt, which was my favorite! For sides, we had mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus. For dessert, we had chocolate gelato homemade made by the chef and a chocolate lava cake which comes with vanilla ice cream. Nic was our server and his service was absolutely outstanding. Thank you, Flemmings, even on a most busy Saturday night at the beginning of the year you made our experience and experience that will last with us for a long time until we see you again, which will be very soon. My wife's and my overall experience was excellent. We ordered the South African lobster tails and Chilean Sea Bass with asparagus and crab fried rice. When we told our server, Nick, that we were going to share both dishes, he had the kitchen split the sea bass in half and gave my wife and I an equal portion in separate plates, which made "sharing" a lot easier. Combining the rice with the sea bass broth was amazing! Nick was very attentive and helpful, and provided recommendations on the dishes and combinations of main entrees and side dishes. Food was fantastic and the service was impeccable, with numerous servers coming by our table to see if we needed anything. Would highly recommend Eddie V's for any occasion!
