Restaurants near Confederate Memorial Fountain

This was our first time at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, the noise level was low, and the ambience was just right. From the time we got there until we left, service was exceptional and all staff was friendly and accommodating. From the appetizers to the main entrees, even the rolls, were cooked to perfection. We've been to a lot of steakhosues, but this ine is the first where the prime rib was cooked evenly all the way through and was the exact temperature we requested. Garrison Steakhouse is now our #1 steakhouse.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The steak that I ordered, which was the steak Oscar was the best I have had. I really cannot say enough good things or recommended enough. We drove over 90 minutes and it was well worth the drive.

The food was outstanding; The atmosphere was nice but The restaurant was chilly though and I had to actually bring a blanket from my car. If it would have been warmer in the restaurant it would have been perfect. It was 25 degrees outside after-all. We were the first ones seated and they sat us next to the front window by the door. Who seats people by the front door in the winter? So needless to say I was so cold we hurried up and ate so we could leave which made our romantic night not so great. I will add that the restaurant adds a 20% gratuity to your check no matter the size of your party plus using a credit card adds another $3.50.

What a great place to have lunch. We started with the prime rib egg rolls - delicious. Then a mushroom Swiss burger and prime rib sandwich. Both amazing. We took a piece of carrot cake home, we’ll have that later. This is definitely my new favorite place in Clarksville - even better than the Black Horse downtown.

Our waiter Leo was amazing. We were there through an entire ballgame and he never made us feel like we should rush to get out. Food was excellent. Even though D&B doesn’t do anything special for birthdays Leo got a group of servers together to sing to my son.
