Michael Anthony’s is the penultimate culinary experience! We first enjoyed our blessed times here in this amazing restaurant when we lived in HHI from 2004-2008. Our favorite then and now, again during this current visit. Wait staff: highly customer-focused, present, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and very capable, able to take high-level care even during busy moments. Manager checked in on us and ensured that our expectations were being wildly exceeded! Chef: scrumptious butternut squash soup with sausage was light, exquisite, and unforgettably delicious! My wife’s go-to favorite in all restaurants - the evening recipe salmon, stood out, cooked to her exact requirements & was her all-time favorite. My lasagna was extraordinary. Igloo experience was a great way to celebrate a January birthday. Ryan our server was great and we had the best time and great food.

All around cozy, inviting, wonderful evening. The family owned restaurant/gallery provides unique Entrees, interesting art pieces, and music. Made the evening out for my husbands birthday, quite special.

My husband ordered the duck & he said his was cooked perfectly - medium rare. The scalloped potatoes & veggies (green beans & carrots) were also delicious. He cleaned his plate. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which was good, not much different than what can be found in Costco or ordering online - it came with a lovely horseradish & dill sauce. I also had the crab, avocado appetizer which was more interesting. We had an early reservation which is what I prefer to eating later, but there were people waiting by the time we left around 6:30.

The Connecticut Lobster Roll is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is fun. Our server was sweet and provided excellent service. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to install an elevator. The stairs are difficult for individuals with mobility issues and prohibitive for those with severe mobility issues.
