Great meal from start to finish, Isaiah our server was spot on with recommendations and pairings, hostess was prompt, drinks were great and the steak was cooked to perfection. We’ll be back - so much so that as we left we made follow on reservations! The place was just a little noisy only because there was live music going on and it did not distract from the atmosphere.

We have been dining at the Viejas Grove Steakhouse for decades to celebrate various special times, and, as always, this V-Day was excellent in every respect. From the manager to the waitpersons to the food and everything else, we rate it an A++ experience. Why dine anywhere else? We had the lump crabcakes, lobster bisque soup, wedge salad, seabass and beef braised short rib and each was superb. We topped it off with the special dessert for 2 prepared tableside, and without fail, the Grove did not disappoint in any way. Cannot wait for our next visit! It is truly our favorite restaurant.

Ruben gave us an amazing explanation of the processes to make wine. So many new details that we learned from the experience. We enjoyed the music and the 3 wines we tasted. Our only suggestion is to call them to get location. Opentable currently shows the location in Tecate which is wrong.
