Restaurants near Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel

Have eaten brunch here 3-4 times in the past. The food and drinks are consistently good and the ocean views are amazing.

No clear check in process. Hostess took us to our table and left. Sat and waited for a server to come. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to just go get our food from the buffet or wait. Finally a server came. When asked if he was assigned to our table he seemed to be lost. Then we asked if we should go to get our food or wait for information he said to go get our food. We asked if they had a wine list? What other drinks did they offer, then went to get a drink menu. Prices were a little excessive compared to other places we’ve been to in Hawaii. They served crab legs but didn’t have crackers to break the shells. Will probably not return to this buffet.

The food was excellent but quite expensive compared to the amount that was served. Same goes for the wine. We had the Surf & Turf and it was just a small piece of filet mignon with 2 Shrimp, a soup spoon size of mashed potatoes and about 6 pieces of broccoli. It tasted really good, no question about that, but was too pricey. The place itself is quite nice with a good service and a nice Bar Area.

Great view of Kona bay. Saw dolphins putting on a show, jumping up and playing around Fish was excellent. My husband had the Ahi and I had the Sanddab (type of flounder). Definitely recommend we will be back

We walked right in at reservation time and were immediately seated with a terrific ocean view seat. Service was friendly and efficient. The coffee was very hot and readily available and refilled when needed. The food was hot and delicious. The check was handled efficiently including giving us credit for the local Toast points we had earned.
